Top 3 reasons to take on our Croatia Multisport adventure

In April 2023 our first group of #ratracers took on our brand new Croatia adventure and they blew us away as they ran, walked, biked, paddleboarded and kayaked their way down this stunning island chain to the walled city of Dubrovnik.

Croatia is a country rich in history and beauty, our route is designed to showcase the utterly stunning scenery, the hospitality of the local people and the varied terrain and landscape.

1. The jaw dropping views

When you're running or trekking 50km, nothing makes the time go faster than some picture perfect backdrops for your sweaty selfies. Day 1 weaves along the coast line of Korcula Island and those postcard moments just kept coming.

2. Paddleboarding at sunrise on crystal clear water

There's moments that you just know you'll always remember as soon as they happen and this was definitely one of them. Island hopping on a paddleboard as the sun came up and the water sparkled around everyone is a memory locked securely in our adventure bank.

3. Storming the historic Walls of Ston is a highlight of our Croatia adventure

For those Game of Throne fans out there this is one for the bucket list, the walls of King's Landing form part of our brutal (but beautiful!) 6km run/trek as the final leg of the second day.

What did our 2023 Rat Racers think?

I couldn't recommend it more - I had the BEST TIME (as did Fiann)! Croatia is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful countries I've ever visited, with a huge breadth of environments, from seaside chill to mountains to forested national park and more. I loved it last year, and I loved it this year, and I'll be back!

I've completed many RR events over the years and cannot praise these guys highly enough. The effort they go to to make sure all competitors are looked after and supported is second to none. The logistics themselves must be mind boggling. All the accommodation was of the highest standard and so too was the food.

Croatia 2023. The course itself would have made it all worthwhile. Without question the most beautiful route I’ve done in 20 years of trails. Good quality accommodation, plentiful and varied sustenance on and off the course. Add to that an impressively professional support team - not only perfectly organised (even the weather went to plan!) but with warm and personal touches and a fab group of fellow athletes made for a pretty much perfect trip. I would thoroughly recommend.

Rat Race Croatia, was one the best multi sport race/event I have ever done. Communication was fantastic in the lead up to it and during. The equipment was of great quality, the accommodation was amazing and the course was breath taking.
