"I come alive outdoors. The trail, the road, the unknown path ahead—they all pull me forward. Running becomes my way of exploring the world and uncovering parts of myself I didn’t know were there. With every step, the limits I once believed in shift, from running through the jungle in Peru to the coast paths of Scotland I love it all. Im a better person for being outside"

Al Pepper @alpepperruns
"Hey! How are you all doing?! For me, running is about that sense of adventure, the joy of time spent outdoors, the sense of pride in a job well done and of course, creating lasting memories with other people. I've ran in some beautiful locations and in some challenging weather conditions and my goal is always the same... love every footstep. Or at least most of them. Maybe not the boggy ones. Ultra Tour of Arran? It's entirely tarmac isn't it?"

Sandra Grinevicius @sandra.g.adventures
"There is always an adventure if you look around. I am energetic and always look out for a challenge, preferably in the mountains. You will find me chasing for sunrises and trig points - the best medicine to everything. On the runs I do not chase for times, I chase for feeling and the views. I love endurance events for the experience and to see what I am capable off, as well as meeting inspiring people on my journey."

Andrew Farrell @runstretchsucceed
Hi, I’m Andrew, I started running properly after lockdown because I wanted a new challenge. Things quickly escalated when I decided to run my first ultra the Manchester to Liverpool (M2L) Ultra . Because apparently a marathon just wasn't dramatic enough.
Since my first ultra, things have escalated slightly, and I've gone on to run marathons, ultramarathons and some seriously unhinged challenges, including finishing the Lakeland 100.
I'm all about proving that you don't have to fit the stereotypical image of a runner to achieve incredible things. You can be loud, dramatic, flexible and still run 100 miles.
Run, stretch, succeed… and occasionally suffer in a fabulous manner.

"Give me fresh air, a new trail and a challenge that feels slightly beyond me, and I’m in. I love discovering where my feet can take me and finding out just what I’m capable of.
For me, it has never been about being fast. It’s about taking on challenges that scare me, meeting incredible people along the way and proving to my three boys that ordinary people can do extraordinary things.
I share the honest, unpredictable and sometimes ridiculous reality of fitting ultra adventures around family life."

Chrissy Raider @chrissyraider
"I’m a hiker, ultra WALKER, adventure addict and occasional maker of questionable life choices!
When I’m not disappearing into the hills, I’m plotting my next big adventure, thru hike, wild camp or convincing myself (and others) that signing up for a 100 mile race was definitely a good idea…
I believe the best adventures are the ones that push me way outside my comfort zone, preferably with a lot of laughs along the way!"
