About Montane Medusa 32L

Montane has stayed true to their lightweight and comfortable fit morals, and have kept this pack still pretty lean despite its 32 litre load carrying needs. If you are up for some lightweight and short backpacking and mountaineering trips then the Medusa can hack it. In fact it’s particularly suited to trips that require some dense weight to be carried such as climbing gear. Comfort is assured with its lightweight MONTANE® Comfort Back Pad and Contact Mesh coverings. The envelope is complete with the use of RAPTOR TL fabric. Features abound; with toll attachment points, Granite side mesh pouches and hip strap pockets. Montane have made a point of the ‘Dual Tool’ clean system, which enables tools (ice axes and poles) to be stored upright as well as upside down to give safer options. The overall look is rather understated, but just take a look at the feature list, and be astounded!

Moulded MONTANE® ‘Comfort Back Pad’ features channels that wick sweat and rainwater away from the body and give additional ventilation
Waterproof shell friendly ‘Contact Mesh’ on the shoulder straps and ‘Comfort Back Pad’ facings prevent abrasion on shell clothing when the pack is full to capacity and with heavy use
‘Dual Tool’ reversed clean technical ice axe and walking pole attachment system. Ice axes can be reversed to an ‘Alpine safe’ position for increased safety when moving
Buddy pocket for front access whilst on the move features a stiffened lip to prevent loss of items if zips are left open
